Bottles Good for the Environment and Your Baby

Posted by Unknown at 07:27
I was recently invited to a baby shower and the mother-to-be specifically requested eco-friendly, green baby products on her invitation. I thought to myself that this is a unique request, but then when I began searching online for green baby products I was surprised at how many eco-friendly baby products are available. I chose to purchase her eco-friendly baby bottles. My favorite eco-friendly baby bottles are below. I hope these inspire you to do something great for the environment but even more, something spectacular for your baby.

New Born Mom has several eco-friendly baby bottles but the Green to Grow™ wide-neck 10 oz. bottles are very useful for new moms. They do not contain any phthalates or bisphenol-A, are durable and cute. You can request eco-friendly gift-wrap and ship directly to the mother-to-be if you are out of town.

Dr. Brown's BPA Free Polypropylene Natural Flow Wide Neck Bottle

With the concern that many new moms have over plastic baby bottles, glass baby bottles are becoming more and more popular again. However, I was always concerned with dropping glass bottles and they were forever bumping together in the diaper bag. Now Lifefactory has introduced the wee∙go™ bottle featuring a silicone sleeve to protect the bottle from breaking. The sleeves are non-toxic and are dishwasher safe. Most of all - moms will love the great colors and they are cute!

I was shopping with my friend, who is a new grandmother, and she insisted that we purchase only Dr. Brown's Natural Flow baby bottles. I started looking around online and found that they are eco-friendly in that they contain no BPA, PVC, lead or phthalates and are made of plastic and glass. The website claims that the bottles help babies by reducing colic, spit-up, burping and gas as well as helping to maintain vitamins. From everything I have found, moms seem to be happy with Dr. Brown's bottles.

Thinkbaby bottles are free of Bisphenol-A, PVC, lead, phthalates and nitrosamines. The bottles come in a variety of sizes and shapes to meet each mom's needs. However, not only are these products eco-friendly, this company is also conscious of the environment and works to be efficient, green and eco-friendly in every aspect of their company. Moms can feel good about purchasing products that are safe for their baby as well as supporting a company that strives to be eco-friendly.

The Adiri Natural Nurser won a Medical Design Excellence Award in 2008 for their Natural Nurser™ Ultimate Baby Bottle. These bottles are eco-friendly and designed to mimic mother's breast for a natural feel and design for your baby. These bottles are safe, eco-friendly and good for your baby.
